Parthenocarpic. Manny is a Beit Alpha type that was developed for greenhouse production. This type of cucumber is widely used in Europe and is well known for its high quality, crisp-textured, tasty fruit. The shiny, medium green, smooth fruit measure 5-7" L x 1-1/2" W. Parthenocarpic (self-pollinating). Best yields occur when trellised, but Manny performs well in open field production too. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew.
