This 8-9” Nantes
carrot is very smooth with a cylindrical shouldered shape and well-rounded tips
at maturity, ideal for slicing and cello markets. The roots average 1½-1¾” in diameter
and have a small core and good color. Strongly attached tops can handle harvest
by top-lifting and offer high resistance to Powdery Mildew and Alternaria Leaf
Blight and intermediate resistance to Pythium Cavity Spot and Aster Yellows.
