The definition of elegance! Extra large, clean white blooms with ivory throats on tall stems.
Known for their tall spikes of vibrant, funnel-shaped blooms and striking, sword-like foliage. Gladioli are available in a wide array of colors with flowers that open from the bottom upward, creating a stunning vertical display. A favorite among florists and gardeners, they are easy to grow, harvest, and design with. Primarily grown outdoors for cut flower production, however suitable varieties can be started earlier in high tunnels to extend availability. Harvest when the first 1–3 bottom flowers are open; the rest will bloom in the vase, offering a long vase life of 7–10 days. For continuous harvest, succession plant every two weeks. Avoid planting in the same location annually to reduce disease risk; wait 4–5 years before replanting in previously grown ground. Gladiolus typically reach bloom in 70–90 days.
